Tis the Season!

We started off the weekend with a fun time at The Enchanted Forest! This is something we have done the past two years, but the girls seemed to love it even more this year.  MC was able to read all the items on the scavenger hunt and the girls had fun running all over trying to find each of the items! It was so cute watching them get so excited every time they found one!  We also enjoyed seeing all the beautifully decorated trees, the girls picked their favorite for me to take their picture in front of.

Jack's favorite was the Trains!!

My friend and her daughter placed in the gingerbread house contest!!!

What Jack didn't enjoy was seeing Santa Claus...

We enjoyed lunch at my FAVORITE...Las Delicious!!!

After lunch it was off to the parade!

After an afternoon rest we went to The Live Nativity and Bethlehem Village.

The girls with the Magi's camels!

Everyone with Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus!

Jack was excited to see one of his teachers...once he figured out that it REALLY was Mrs. Carolyn!

The girls visiting the "Weaver"

Painting at the ink shop.

Rubbing in Greek...

Jack really enjoyed the llama!!! Feeding him and brushing him!

Sunday night we wrapped things up at our church with The Singing Christmas Tree!! It was a GREAT performance and it was so fun to see some of our High Schoolers perform!!

Phew...we packed it in, but had a fun family weekend!!!
Thinking back to all of the extrodinary things that we filled our weekend with makes me think of a big party.  So much planning, practice, decorating, and love went into each fun activity we did....for celebration....the celebration of Jesus' birthday.

"And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh."
Matthew 2:11
