Hip Hip Hooray! I'm so excited! I finished my first quilt! This was my Valentine's Day present...a quilt class...romantic huh? I spent two days in "class" at the Bumbletee's Studio learning how to make this little beauty and then had to do some homework to finish her up! Overall, it did not take much time at all....I just had to carve out the time to work on it, which meant after the kids bedtime!
Miss. C all wrapped up in it this morning. I love the funky bright colors! The floral with the white background is my favorite!
The colors make me so happy!!
I think my favorite part overall is how the stripe fabric that I used on the binding ties everything together!
Miss. MC is sick today and is enjoying cuddling on the couch with the quilt. She wouldn't allow me a face shot, she would only let me take a picture of her toes...which I think are pretty cute peeking out from under the quilt!
Ashley, you continue to amaze me! I don't see how you do all that you do (take care of your home, husband, 3 sweet kiddos, girls in class, ministry) and find time to quilt & paint & craft & blog. Definitely an inspiration! :)
