for Christmas, for the BABY!
I just got off the phone with a friend who is just weeks away from having her first little baby, a baby boy, a baby she has been waiting a very long time for. We talked and talked about all the exciting things that were to come. Nothing makes a mama talk more then reliving the events of her child's birth. It made me realize how exciting the birth of a child is, how much joy and excitement it brings for everyone. I think too how a new baby draws a crowd. Anytime you see a sweet newborn in public, you just want to look at the sweetness....right?
Maybe that's why God used this precious baby Jesus come into the world?
To EXCITE us and DRAW US NEAR to HIM.
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
