Shock and Awe

Don't you just love surprises?? I do! And that is just what we did this weekend at the reunion....surprised our family with the news that baby 3 would be coming soon! Speaking of surprises...No, this baby was no surprise.  This is a question that we have gotten. We prayed about having another child, and God was very gracious to bless us with another sweet baby! So, there..no...no surprise, just excited that God trusts us enough with another gift from Him!

On with the surprise.  This weekend was Mr. Nice's family reunion, so we thought it would be a great time to tell everyone.  My parents would be there too b/c they were meeting us there to pick up Spice (she is staying with them this week).

We did many things that we get to do when we visit the metropolis of Sebastopol, MS like play with animals....

Visit family....

Eat every type of vegetable that can be cooked in butter, sugar, and things I'm sure I do not want to know about.  Along with every imaginable casserole that you can make with a can of Campbell's Cream of (fill in the blank) Soup.  Did I mention the desert TABLE? (sorry no picture of this!)

After lunch we could not contain it any longer.  The girls slipped on their big sis shirts I made them (again I did not get a great picture...they were just too hyped up to take a picture together with their shirts) and off they ran to tell the news.

The girls first told Nanny because she was feeling bad, and having to lie down...

Mimi was next....

Can you tell she is shocked???

Now...Gran and BoomPa....

I think he is in shock and she is in awe....

Then to Pop...

It took him a minute...

It was a very fun day, we were happy to FINALLY share the news, and I think the big sisters are excited too!! I think Ford's excited that he might have a chance at not getting picked on anymore!
