Strawberry Salsa:
Strawberries
Blueberries
Raspberries
Blackberries
(as much or little as you want of these berries..I used all of the containers shown and it made a HUGE bowl of salsa!)
1/2 can of crushed pinapples (somewhat drained)
flour tortillas
butter
cinnamon and sugar
First I washed all of the fruit and cut up the srawberries. I took about 5-6 strawberries and mashed them up with a fork to get that juicy slasa like texture.
Added in the cut up strawberries and blueberries
Added in the blackberries and raspberries,
I then drained off some of the juice from the can of pineapples and spooned about 1/2 the can in the bowl with some of the remaining juice. If you want more of a liquidy salsa then add more juice (I like mine chunky!) Mix up and chill!!
Meanwhile Spice helped me make the yummy cinnamon sugar chips that go perfectly with this salsa. (Don't you just love my tatted up, silly band wearin' helper??)
We cut up flour tortillas brushed on butter and sprinkled on cinnamon and sugar. I baked them in the oven on 350 until they were crispy. WARNING...These. Things. Are. Addicting!
They are super good straight out of the oven with the salsa. We almost ate all of them just snacking as I made them!
Spice also had a good time using cookie cutters to make chips with.
I recommend a larger cookie cutter so that it can hold more salsa! I really liked the little stars...maybe a good fourth of July treat!? Share this with your friends, family and neighbors!!
Enjoy!

That's so yummy. I make fruit salsa with granny smith apple, strawberries, and kiwi. It's so delicious and healthy. I also suggest using nilla wafers or graham crackers. YUM.
